Kinda Crunchy

Well, it's mostly over for us. My little town may have some flooding to contend with in the coming days as the river crests and flows out. We may still be without power, with what seems to be several more days before it is returned. We may have lost everything in our fridge/freezer. BUT... It could have been so much worse. My wonderful husband unclogging the brush on the storm drain at my mother's house. There are many surrounding towns, particularly East and South East of us, that will be without power for much longer than I will be and many who have lost everything they own. We were so lucky that the storm made the turn it made and we were just on the far edge of the storm. The boat landing in our town. So now, we are in the waiting stage.
